Counterbalance Forklift Driver North Tawton, Devon, EX20 2EB Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm. Contract Position: 4 Months but may lead to further work The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installation along with planned and preventive maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join the company supporting a major new build project in North Tawton, EX20 2EB. Duties As an experienced and suitably qualified counterbalance forklift driver you will be working within a Food production facility on a project to remove and re install process pipework and equipment. The primary duties will be to safely unload and distribute as necessary, all new process equipment delivered to site. Specific items will include high value pumps, motors, valve sets and one-off pieces of specialist equipment. Other duties will include assisting fitters with basic installation works, typically tightening bolts, painting pipework and installing pipework. Full training will be given for this aspect of the job. About You Based ideally in Devon you will need to live within a commutable distance of EX20 2EB. Demonstrable experience of operating a 5000Kg counterbalance forklift to distribute materials around site. Minimum, RTITB B1 counterbalance forklift or equivalent. Interested?
