About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a main contractor for a Bid Administrator to join their preconstruction function

.

This position provides administrative support to the preconstruction and estimating teams, helping coordinate tender submissions and maintain accurate bid documentation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring deadlines are met and bid processes are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate calendars for bid submission activity including reviews, meetings, interviews and submission deadlines
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and support effective planning across teams
  • Receive, acknowledge, download and file tender documentation and correspondence
  • Maintain accurate document control and version management
  • Ensure documentation is distributed to relevant stakeholders
  • Support communication of key bid milestones and submission deadlines
  • Record and manage quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintain organised and accessible records to support estimating activity
  • Assist in preparing bid documentation and supporting materials including questionnaires, project profiles and presentations
  • Support uploading and downloading information through client and tender portals
  • Provide administrative support across preconstruction and estimating teams
  • Support internal quality and document management procedures
  • Maintain accurate project records and information storage processes
  • Assist in ensuring project photography and records remain up to date


About You

  • Previous administrative experience is essential
  • Strong organisational and time management skills xwzovoh
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • SharePoint experience preferred
  • Experience within construction, engineering or professional services environments advantageous
  • Familiarity with tender processes or document control would be beneficial
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Additional Requirement

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
