They are a small subsidiary of a much larger financial exchange firm.The first mission starts in with a six-to-twelve-month mandate in the EU. Further mandates are in the pipeline.This is a greenfield platform involving a major insurers and financial institutions. It combines robo advisory with varied portfolio management and portfolio insurance. The firm own and operate a platform for individualised, algorithmic financial products, bringing together investment banks, insurance companies, asset managers and commercial banks.The software developer will Manage the integration of participants onto the platform you will work in a team, supported by specialists in IT, finance, project management and infrastructure.The firm is currently based in Brussels London and Prague. The firm’s 40 employees come from diverse backgrounds: IT & finance, male & female, various nationalities.Your primary role is to develop and maintain applications for the financial industry. Your role is:Writing clean, scalable, easy to understand, and maintainable code mainly in C#.Analysing and testing software before deployment.Close collaboration with team members including those in remote locations.Working autonomously on given tasks, proactively gathering requirements if needed.Improving company’s build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).Creating documentation of the developed components and processes.C# Developers must have:At least 5 years of proven track of record of software design and development.Advanced knowledge of C# and .NET platform with at least 3 years of experience.Experience with MS SQL Server.Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Knowledge of design patterns and advanced programming techniques and ability to apply them.Knowledge of basic computer science, including multi-threaded approach, algorithm complexity, data structures, graph theory, etc.Experience with dependency injection, unit testing, object mocking,Solid experience of the Software LifecycleThis is a unique opportunity for someone to expand further into financial technology.
