Job Opportunity: Candidate Consultant 📍 Location: Barnsley 🕖 Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm 💷 Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 (DOE) + up to 20% Commission 🚫 No Sales Involved Join the Team at Masterclass Education Are you a people-person with strong organisational skills and a passion for making a difference? Masterclass Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Candidate Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting education professionals and schools—without any sales targets. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Candidate Consultant, your role will focus on candidate management and support. Your responsibilities will include: * Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for educational roles * Managing candidate compliance and documentation in line with safeguarding regulations * Building and maintaining strong relationships with teaching and support staff * Coordinating daily bookings and long-term placements * Providing excellent aftercare and support to candidates What We’re Looking For: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong administrative and organisational ability * A proactive and professional approach to work * Previous experience in recruitment, education, or customer service (desirable but not essential) * Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team What We Offer: * Competitive basic salary of £24,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience) * Commission structure of up to 20% * Early start/early finish – enjoy your evenings! * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Ongoing training and development * A chance to make a real impact in the education sector About Masterclass Education: Masterclass Education is a trusted and established education recruitment agency.
