Mechanical Fitter

Due to new contracts, our client based in Birkenhead is looking to recruit experienced Mechanical Fitters to work across several exciting projects.

Ideally, candidates will be time-served and have previous experience working on large, heavy industrial machinery.

The role will involve both planned and reactive maintenance, so candidates must be confident working in a busy industrial environment and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

💷 Rates of Pay – PAYE Only

Basic Rate: £21.51 per hour

*

Overtime 1: £32.27 per hour

*

Overtime 2: £43.02 per hour

🎁 Package Includes

*

Time and a half overtime during the week & Saturdays

*

Double time on Sundays.

*

Weekly pay.

*

Contributory pension.

*

25 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays, accrued hourly.

✅ Essential Requirements

*

Time-served Mechanical Fitter NVQ Level 3

*

Experience working with large, heavy industrial machinery.

*

Experience in planned and reactive maintenance.

*

Must successfully complete a mechanical theory test before being offered a start.

*

Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

⚠️ Important Information

This role falls within IR35, therefore PAYE is the only payment method available.
