Business Development Executive / Sales Executive (B2B) 📍 Basildon, Essex 💰 £28,000 – £35,000 basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £50,000+) About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing international wholesale business supplying products across the UK and global markets. We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Executive who thrives on winning new business, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The Role As a Business Development Executive, you will: * Identify and secure new business opportunities across UK and international markets * Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals * Build and maintain long-term client relationships * Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline * Carry out proactive outbound activity (calls, emails, video, networking) * Understand client needs and present tailored solutions * Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs * Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts * Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent service What We’re Looking For: ✅ Essential * Proven B2B sales experience with a strong track record * Confident in new business development and closing deals * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills * Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven * Ability to work independently and as part of a team ⭐ Desirable: * Experience within FMCG, wholesale, distribution, or import/export * Experience selling into retailers, distributors, or trade customers * Exposure to international markets or export sales * Additional language skills (advantageous but not essential) What’s on Offer * Competitive basic salary (£28k–£35k DOE) * Uncapped commission with realistic OTE £50k+ * Opportunity to work with international clients and markets * Clear career progression opportunities * Supportive, high-growth business environment * Ongoing training and development
