The Opportunity
Global Schools Group (GSG), an Apollo-backed, US$2 billion+ valuation premium international education platform operating 64 campuses across 11 countries, is establishing a dedicated Education Sector Private Equity Fund – Academic Capital Partners (ACP). Leveraging GSG's 20-year track record, proprietary SMART Campus technology, and M&A discipline (nine post-Apollo acquisitions), the new Fund will execute a buy-and-build consolidation strategy across the
high-growth Asia-Pacific and GCC markets. We are seeking a highly commercial and deeply networked Head of Capital Raising and Investor Relations to lead the fundraising strategy, LP engagement, and capital formation for this inaugural vehicle. Role is based in Singapore.

Role & Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy & Execution: Design and execute the global capital raising strategy for ACP’s inaugural education fund, targeting US$500M - US$1B in commitments.
- LP Network Development: Leverage an established rolodex of sovereign wealth funds (e.g., Mubadala, ADIA, GIC), pension funds (e.g., PSP, CPPIB), endowments, family offices, and fund-of-funds with an appetite for long-duration,infrastructure-like education assets.
- Pitch & Collateral Development: Translate GSG's operational edge, SMART Campus IP, and Apollo-backed financial discipline into compelling pitch decks, PPMs, and DDQs.
- Investor Relations: Build a best-in-class IR function, managing ongoing LP communications, quarterly reporting, AGM presentations, and co-investment syndication.
- Strategic Advisory: Work closely with the ACP Investment Committee to align fund structuring, terms, and deployment pacing with LP market appetite.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10-15+ years of experience in capital raising, placement advisory, or investor relations within top-tier Private Equity, Infrastructure, or Real Estate funds.
- Sector Expertise: Prior experience raising capital for education-focused PE funds (e.g., Leeds Equity, Quad Partners, Kaizen) or broad APAC mid-market buyout funds is preferred.
- Track Record: Demonstrable track record of successfully closing institutional capital for first-time funds or spin-out vehicles in the APAC/Middle East regions. xwzovoh
- Network: Active, senior-level relationships with LPs actively allocating to Asia-Pacific, GCC, Europe and North America, particularly those with a mandate for defensive, recurring-revenue assets.
- Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of fund economics, LPA structuring, and the structural advantages of the K-12 education sector (negative working capital, inflation pass-through)
