You’d be joining at a senior level with real scope to influence direction and help drive that growth.What you’ll be doingThis is a broad, senior role with a strong commercial edge. You’ll be:Leading and delivering client work across insurance investment and ALMWinning new business and developing existing client relationshipsShaping propositions and bringing new ideas to marketWorking across areas such as:Investment strategyIlliquid assetsCredit and market risk modellingInternal model validationMatching adjustment optimisationLiquidity and sustainable investmentSupporting and mentoring more junior team membersIt’s a varied role, so it suits someone who enjoys working across different topics and balancing delivery with business development.What they’re looking forThey’re keen to speak to people who are already operating at a senior level in this space and can bring both technical depth and commercial impact.You’ll likely have:Strong expertise in insurance investment and ALM within the UK marketA track record of winning work and generating revenueA good understanding of the key challenges facing insurers today, across life and ideally general insuranceExperience leading large, complex projectsThe ability to build and maintain senior client relationshipsA collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring othersA clear and confident communication style, especially with non-technical stakeholdersOn the technical side, you’ll also need:A relevant actuarial or similar professional qualificationStrong knowledge of Solvency UK, and ideally Solvency II or other regimes (e.g. Bermuda)Awareness of current and emerging trends in insurance investment and ALMA few extra pointsThey’re open to both full-time and part-time candidatesYou’ll need to be comfortable working across multiple projects and prioritiesThere will be some travel depending on client needs
