2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an experienced 2rd Line IT Support Engineer to join a MSP based in Crawley. This is a senior technical role involving complex troubleshooting, infrastructure support and project delivery across a varied customer base.

Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, taking ownership of incidents through to resolution.
Provide 3rd line support across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
Maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including Hyper-V, networking, firewalls, VPNs, backup and disaster recovery.
Deliver customer projects including cloud migrations, server upgrades, infrastructure improvements and security implementations.
Support junior engineers, undertake root-cause analysis and identify opportunities to improve systems, security and service delivery.

Proven experience in a 2rd Line IT Support or Senior Infrastructure Engineer role, ideally within an MSP environment.
Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Azure, Windows Server and Active Directory.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Hyper-V, backup solutions and disaster recovery.
Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs.
Experience with PowerShell, technical project delivery and troubleshooting complex infrastructure and cloud environments.
