Nurse Care Manager

We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as Nursing Care Manager at Eastbourne Gardens Care Home in Eastbourne. Your role as a Nursing Care Manager will be to ensure the delivery of effective nursing care to residents in a nursing home and to directly manage the Registered General Nurses on your team. Co-ordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring that the plan of care is accurate and reflected in the care needs summary, the resident is involved in identifying needs and preferences, and integration of all information into a person-centred care plan Overall responsibility for the management of the Nursing Team, introducing effective mechanisms for communication, such as team meetings, communication boards, etc. Support, guide and develop their team members by carrying out regular supervisions/one-to-ones and yearly reviews and support individual performance management plans for identified staff.  To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.  Have 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience, with evidence of ongoing professional development in elderly care or a relevant field. Possess previous management experience and a comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
