ThePlaceToBe are partnering with a leading integrated agency to find an ambitious Account Director to take the lead on one of their biggest and most exciting clients - a standout name in the health and wellness space while also overseeing a small portfolio of additional accounts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own and deliver high-profile, fully integrated campaigns across a wide range of channels. Working across brand communications, retail and marketing, you’ll play a key role as a strategic lead on the account driving both the direction and delivery of work. The agency is known for its creative thinking, collaborative culture, and long-standing client relationships.
About the role…
As an Account Director, you’ll operate as a true strategic partner to your clients, acting as a key communicator and driver on the account. You’ll shape strategy and oversee delivery across integrated campaigns, ensuring everything lands with impact. Alongside leading a flagship health and wellness client, you’ll also support and guide activity across additional accounts within the agency.
What you’ll be doing…
- Acting as the senior strategic lead for a key health & wellness client, alongside overseeing additional accounts
- Leading the strategy and delivery of integrated campaigns across brand, retail, and marketing channels
- Shaping brand communications, messaging, storytelling, and tone of voice
- Driving creative thinking from concept through to execution
- Building strong, long-term client relationships and identifying growth opportunities
- Acting as a key communicator and driver on the account, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders
- Collaborating closely with internal creative, strategy, and delivery teams
- Ensuring work is delivered on brief, on time, and on budget
- Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members
- Supporting new business and contributing to wider agency growth
About you…
You’re a commercially minded Account Director who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment. You’re confident leading senior client relationships, shaping strategy, and driving delivery across integrated campaigns. You enjoy owning key accounts while balancing multiple workstreams and bringing fresh thinking to the table.
What we’re looking for…
- Proven experience at Account Director level within an integrated or creative agency
- Strong experience across health & wellness, retail, FMCG, or lifestyle brands
- Experience delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns across brand communications and marketing
- A strategic and commercially driven mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong leadership experience, with a passion for developing others
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and driven
