Were Hiring | Industrial Painters | Birkenhead Key role and responsibilities for Industrial Painter role * Prepare steel and other surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, scraping and masking prior to painting. * Apply protective coatings using brush and roller in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer guidelines. * Mix and prepare paints and coatings to the correct ratios and ensure products are used within their specified pot life. * Carry out surface preparation to achieve the required standard before paint application. * Inspect completed work to ensure the required finish, coverage and quality standards are achieved. * Safely use and maintain painting tools, equipment and access systems. * Comply with all health, safety and environmental procedures, including the correct use of PPE and RPE * Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring work areas remain clean, organised and free from hazards. * Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to support the safe and efficient delivery of projects. Minimum requirements for Industrial Painter role: * Train the painter protective coating applicator card (Bronze) * Candidates must be elgibible to obtain BPSS security clearance which as minimum candidates would need to provide including criminal record check, 3 years of employment history, right to work, 5 years address history * Candidates would also need to be eligible to obtain SC clearance About Denholm Industrial Services Denholm Industrial Services specialises in engineered scaffolding, specialist rope and access solutions, offering a single-supplier approach to streamline major construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
