Space Planner

RF Recruitment is working with a major broadcaster, at the heart of UK entertainment, to recruit a dedicated Space Planner on a 12 month maternity cover contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning and management of changeable, commercial spaces within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing efficient space utilisation plans, supporting facilities management initiatives, and ensuring optimal use of the company's London and UK wide premises. This is a 12-month contract position, paid weekly via an hourly rate with a competitive salary of c40,000 - £45,000.  Within this space planning position, you will be responsible for making the very best use of this impressive organisation's spaces, ensuring you deliver a great place for your colleagues to work in. Your role will include: Space optimisation through assessing, evaluating, planning and designing space requests from all parts of the business, taking into account legal obligations as well as end user requirements Unification of CAD plan structure  Perform space feasibility studies Perform part of project management team  Work with senior stakeholders  Adhoc planning  Stakeholder management Visits to UK office locations where required  You will be joining at an exciting time, with lots of opportunities for change, making your role varied and challenging! For this space planners role in London we are looking for: AutoCAD proficiency with the ability to produce 2D and 3D visuals. Experience as a Space Planner, within a similar corporate, fast moving work environment Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills. Abilities & Personal Qualities Creative design thinking — not just desk layouts, but breakout spaces, collaboration zones and flexible working environments.
