7.5 Tonne Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Radlett Depot. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am starts Pay Rates: £17.61 PAYE Per Hour, over time after 40 hours £24.99 per hour PAYE Location: AL2 2FL Job Type: Ongoing The role: .Collections and deliveries required (deliveries will be up to 15 stops and collections up to 10) · Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations. . Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses · Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required. · Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision, including shunting duties when required. · Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. · Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. · Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Requirements: · Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1) . 12 months experience required. · Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. · No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). · Full understanding of WTD legislation. · Excellent communication skills. · A safety-first mindset.
