A leading national charity is seeking an experienced People Partner to join its People & Culture team. This is a true business partnering role, working closely with directors and managers to provide expert HR guidance, support organisational change, and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
The successful candidate will support managers across a range of employee relations matters, help drive employee engagement initiatives, and contribute to People Team projects that improve organisational effectiveness and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with directors and managers to provide proactive HR advice, coaching and support
Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, conduct and conflict resolution
Support managers with attendance management, sickness absence cases and return-to-work interviews
Promote best practice in people management and support the development of management capability
Work closely with the Senior Organisational Change Manager to support organisational objectives and change initiatives
Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives
Support the delivery of the organisation's Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
Assist with annual Gender Pay Reporting and associated action plans
Support the development and implementation of HR systems and related process improvements
Manage SelectHR and associated People Partnering responsibilities, including Occupational Health records
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
Ensure employees, volunteers and trustees are treated fairly and supported appropriately
What They're Looking For:
Previous experience within a People Partner, HR Business Partner xwzovoh or Senior HR Advisor role
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Significant experience managing complex employee relations cases
Experience supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives
Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives
Experience using HR systems and supporting process improvement projects
Ability to build effective relationships with managers and senior leaders
CIPD qualification or equivalent experience desirable
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
