MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Tax Technician on a full time, permanent basis.

Job Duties of the Tax Technician:

• Work with portfolio of clients across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
• Prepare and submit personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing support on a range of tax matters.
• Work closely with Managers to deliver a high-quality service and support client engagements.
• Full training and support provided for candidates with limited or no Republic of Ireland tax experience.
• Opportunity to gain exposure across a variety of tax disciplines and develop specialist expertise.

What you need to be the Tax Technician

• Previous accountancy practice experience is preferred.
• Experience preparing personal tax returns, corporate tax returns, or a combination of both.
• Eager to learn and develop within a supportive and growing tax team.
• Open to candidates from both small practices with mixed tax exposure and larger firms with experience in a dedicated tax team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
