An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Litigation Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE to join a long-established, multi sited and highly regarded law firm in Romford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a litigation solicitor looking for high-quality work, genuine career progression and the chance to take on increasing responsibility within a supportive and growing team.

About the Role

You will manage your own varied caseload of contentious matters, working closely with experienced solicitors while enjoying plenty of autonomy and direct client contact.

Responsibilities

• Contentious probate and inheritance disputes
• Commercial and civil litigation
• Breach of contract claims
• Professional negligence
• Property and building disputes
• Landlord & tenant matters
• Debt recovery and insolvency
• General civil litigation
• Work with counsel
• Prepare matters for hearings and trials
• Develop your advocacy skills
• Become involved in the supervision of junior team members
• Develop your own areas of expertise
• Build client relationships
• Become increasingly involved in business development and networking

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ PQE with solid general litigation solicitor experience

Required Skills

• Strong drafting, negotiation and case management skills
• Experience managing a varied caseload independently
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Advocacy experience or a desire to develop advocacy skills
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
• An interest in business development and networking

Preferred Skills

• LEAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential
