About the role
Join a company pioneering their way into building out a next generation of fibre network. Systems supporting business internet are critical as the shift to hybrid and flexible working means platforms and systems must run efficiently to ensure business communication is smooth. Be a part of innovating solutions to the problems faced in building out a fibre network to serve the businesses not just of today but tomorrow too.
The company is committed to build and enhance their stellar reputation, and this is where you come in. You are committed to delivering high quality work in a collaborative environment that is based on respect and trust. The autonomy is there for you to make the decisions required to deliver on the projects you are working on. It is a truly polyglot environment, the best tool for the job is used. Day to day work will see you design, implement and test solutions to problems faced in building out a high performance data platform.
You’ll lead a “tribe”, with responsibility for ensuring the team delivers high quality code.
Whilst this is a role where you would choose what you need to use to enhance the platform's performance, a rough tech stack is in play. GraphQl or Neo4j experience is highly desirable, programming with Python or TypeScript is again advantageous. You know the full SDLC and are comfortable architecting solutions.
This role is hybrid, with two days a week in the central London office. This is key for collaboration, whiteboard and planning, ensuring the smooth function of the tribe. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and a bonus up to 20%. In addition, you would have access to private healthcare, budgets for training and development and access to mental health support.
