The Opportunity As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of 3–4 live projects, providing strategic commercial oversight across a varied portfolio. You will play a key role in ensuring strong commercial performance, risk management, and consistent delivery standards across multiple schemes including Commercial buildings, High-rise residential schemes, Student accommodation and Mixed-use regeneration projects Project values typically range from £20m to £80m, offering significant scale, complexity, and variety. This is a role where you will genuinely influence outcomes at both project and business level, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams to ensure excellence in delivery. About You * Strong experience as a Senior QS or Managing QS within a main contracting environment * Proven track record delivering large-scale projects (£20m+) * Experience leading and developing commercial teams * Strong contractual knowledge (JCT / Design & Build experience preferred) * Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels * Commercially sharp, proactive, and driven by high standards Salary & Benefits * Competitive salary circa £90,000 – £95,000 * Excellent benefits package * Long-term career progression within a Tier 1 contractor * Exposure to major UK projects and industry-leading schemes * Strong culture of internal promotion and professional development
