About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Blackpool, who are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic, long-term opportunity running on an ongoing basis potentially until July 2027. You will be working within a supportive primary environment, leading and supporting a small, focused group of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and making a tangible difference in the daily lives and academic journeys of children with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

Targeted Teaching: Deliver engaging, tailored lessons and interventions for a small cohort of primary-aged children with SEN.

Inclusive Planning: Adapt the primary curriculum to suit individual learning styles, Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and specific educational needs.

Progress Tracking: Monitor, assess, and record student progress, celebrating achievements and setting meaningful next steps.
