Job Description: Job Title: Hospital Porter (Adhoc Shifts) Location: Bristol Shift Time: 1:00pm – 9:00pm Job Type: Adhoc / Flexible Shifts Job Overview We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Hospital Porters to support a busy hospital environment in Bristol. This role is essential in helping the hospital operate efficiently by safely transporting patients, medical equipment, supplies, and documentation throughout the site. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are flexible, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Adhoc shifts are available throughout the month, offering flexibility for candidates seeking part-time or supplementary work. Key Responsibilities * Safely transport patients between wards, departments, and treatment areas * Move medical equipment, beds, trolleys, and supplies across the hospital * Assist clinical staff with non-medical support duties * Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety during transportation * Deliver items and documentation promptly throughout the hospital * Follow all hospital health & safety and infection control procedures * Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times Requirements * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work well within a team * Physically fit and capable of being on your feet for extended periods * Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shifts * Previous porter or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential * Enhanced DBS may be required What We Offer * Flexible adhoc shifts throughout the month * Weekly pay * Supportive working environment * Opportunity to gain experience within the healthcare sector If you are dependable, motivated, and interested in supporting hospital operations, we would love to hear from you.
