About the School The schools i work with provide specialist education for pupils from KS2- KS5 with a range of needs from Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Complex Learning Difficulties & Disabilities (CLDD) and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and so much more. They pride themselves on a warm, nurturing, therapeutic and inclusive ethos, with a strong emphasis on personalised learning and creating a safe environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. The Role We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are: Experienced in supporting children with SEND Flexible and confident in adapting to a variety of needs and routines Proactive, using initiative to support learning in the classroom Based locally in the Oldbury area or able to commute easily Key Responsibilities Your role will include: Supporting pupils with severe and complex needs on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting the class teacher with individualised learning activities Supporting pupils with communication, engagement, and personal development Helping to maintain a positive, structured, and safe learning environment Working Pattern This position is offered on a daily supply basis, providing flexibility to suit your schedule. There are also opportunities for longer-term placements, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with both pupils and staff.
