Bakery Packaging Operatives Location: Greenhill Lane, Riddings, Alfreton, DE55 4AS Shifts: Sunday to Friday, 5 nights per week 16:30 PM - 2:00 AM (No Saturday work) Pay Rate: £13.46/hr (Mon-Fri), £13.96/hr (Sunday) About the Role: Barker Ross are seeking motivated Bakery Packaging Operatives to join a friendly team. Your main responsibilities will include packing and slicing bakery products using packaging machinery, including flow wrappers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in progressing into baking roles, with training available for those keen to develop their skills. Key Responsibilities: · Packing loaves of bread and other bakery items · Operating packaging machinery efficiently and safely · Maintaining high standards of hygiene and product quality Requirements & Skills: · Prior experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided · Reliable and punctual · Willingness to work evenings and night shifts · Interest in learning baking skills is a plus Additional Information: · Shift premiums apply for Sunday and night shifts · Temp-to-perm opportunities available for candidates interested in progressing to trainee baker or baker roles If you are enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to join a supportive team with opportunities for growth, we would love to hear from you!
