Refrigeration Engineer 📍 North Yorkshire / Leeds Region 💰 £51,027 + Overtime + Bonus + Benefits 🕒 Hours: Typically 8am - 5pm with flexibility required 📅 Start Date: ASAP We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering supermarket refrigeration systems across Leeds and North Yorkshire. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on supermarket chiller units, display refrigeration, and warehouse cold storage equipment. Key Responsibilities Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance Service supermarket chillers, display units, and warehouse refrigeration systems Diagnose faults and recommend replacements where required Complete technical and compliance paperwork accurately Ensure works are completed within agreed response times Participate in 1 in 4 call-out rota Maintain high health & safety and customer service standards Requirements Proven commercial/supermarket refrigeration experience Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience with planned and reactive maintenance Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Full UK Driving Licence Package £51,027 basic salary Overtime: 1.5x Mon-Sat / 2x Sunday £500 quarterly bonus during first year 33 days holiday including bank holidays 5% employer pension contribution Private healthcare & life insurance Long-term career progression opportunitiesRG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
