£17.10 per hour / £33,789 pa + OT * Temp to Perm Opportunity * Interesting & varied work * Great company culture On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a Skilled Sheet Metal Welder/Fabricator TIG/MIG Welder based in the Middleton, North Manchester. The successful candidate will be joining a sheet metal and fabrication company who are well established in the industry. In this role you will be working across diverse sectors, this role offers variety where you will be offered the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: * Perform high-quality MIG/TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and copper materials ranging from 0.8mm. * Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings with precision. * Ensure reliability and punctuality while managing personal workloads effectively. * Handling weights of up to 16 kilos (as part of a 2-man team) not individually * Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. * Maintain a high standard of work while adhering to health and safety protocols. Successful candidates must have the ability to perform high level Tig welds that meet the Company’s quality standards and previous experience, and knowledge should include; * Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment * Able to read and understand engineering plans * IT literacy for data purposes Hours of Work are Monday to Thursday 07:40 to 16:30/ Friday is 07:40 to 12:20.
