This senior technical position is ideal for someone who enjoys complex advisory work, thrives on problem solving and is keen to support and guide colleagues across a busy division.You'll work with a diverse client base, including Legal Expenses Insurers, liability insurers, businesses, consumers and institutions, covering both claimant and respondent matters. The team is well established, highly collaborative and recognised for its technical expertise.Working closely with the Group Leader and Partner, you'll contribute to the development of best practice, provide strategic input and act as a trusted technical resource within the department.Key Responsibilities:Delivering expert technical, strategic and practical advice on employment lawActing as a senior support figure for colleagues across the teamBuilding strong client relationships and ensuring a high standard of serviceUpholding and promoting best practice in employment litigationHybrid working is available, with a blend of home working and time in the Cardiff office.Candidate RequirementsEssential Skills & ExperienceQualified Solicitor, CILEX lawyer or equivalentStrong technical understanding of employment lawCommercially minded with a pragmatic approach to resolving issuesExperience working with both lay clients and insurersConfident managing all stages of employment litigationAble to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesDesirableExperience liaising with defendant insurer claims handlersWhy Join?You'll be part of a progressive, people centred firm that genuinely invests in its teams.
