Design Engineer

Design Engineer / Whitstable / Permanent   An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This role is ideal for someone with experience in design engineer positions with experience with SolidWorks or similar design software’s within a mechanical or manufacturing environment.   You will play a key role in designing and developing prototype products and working closely with other teams in the organisations to ensure standards are met.   Key Responsibilities Liaising with external suppliers and customers when required Designing and developing prototype products Work with the testing team to ensure products meet guidelines and amending prototype specifications Work closely with internal teams to ensure designs meet the correct requirements Conduct investigations on failed prototype tests  Requirements Previous experience within a design engineer position Higher National Certificate or Degree in an Engineering field Experience using SolidWorks or a similar 3D CAD software Background within manufacturing, engineering, or mechanical environments Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Good communication and organisational skills   Package: 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays Competitive Salary Excellent, tailored training and progression opportunities On site parking Pension Scheme Design Engineer / Whitstable / Permanent
