Warehouse Supervisor / Stock Control Lead

Proactive Global is currently recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor / Stock Control Lead to join a busy and growing operation. This role will take ownership of inventory accuracy while leading and motivating a small warehouse team. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and senior leadership team to improve processes, investigate stock discrepancies and deliver measurable operational improvements. Key Responsibilities * Lead, support and motivate a small warehouse team * Manage cycle-counting activities and maintain accurate stock records * Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate stock variances * Identify the root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions * Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and leadership team * Lead Gemba Walks and Kaizen activities * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and working practices * Engage the wider warehouse team in continuous improvement initiatives * Monitor stock and operational KPIs * Report progress and highlight areas requiring further action Skills and Experience Required * Strong stock control, inventory management and cycle-counting experience * Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment * Experience leading or supervising a small operational team * Good understanding of inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation * Experience with continuous improvement methods, including Kaizen and Gemba Walks * Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills * Confidence working with operational teams and leading change * A practical, hands-on and proactive approach * The ability to challenge existing processes and deliver measurable improvements This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stock-control professional who enjoys being present on the warehouse floor and wants to play a key part in improving an operation.
