Freight Forwarder Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire- £34,000-£38,000 Type: Permanent Regional Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading logistics company that are looking for a new individual to join their team permanently. Roles & Responsibilities: Resource and allocate loads daily, achieving best possible margins Schedule deliveries in line with customer expectations Proactively source additional work via transport trading platforms Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Maintain regular communication with subcontract hauliers Monitor delivery performance and manage any delays Work to operational KPIs and business targets Requirements: Proven experience as a Transport Broker / Transport Trader Strong background negotiating transport rates with subcontractors Good knowledge of UK transport legislation (drivers' hours, WTD, vehicles) Detailed understanding of the UK general haulage market Strong UK geographical knowledge What's on Offer: Competitive salary Company bonus scheme Company pension Additional leave entitlement Free on-site parking About Regional Recruitment  This position is being advertised by Regional Recruitment Ltd, an award winning independent recruitment agency established in 2008.
