The Role We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to join the team for the upcoming summer term. In this rewarding, morning-only position, you will provide vital 1:1 support for a Nursery-aged pupil who has recently been awarded an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). You will play a pivotal role in ensuring her final term of the academic year is positive, secure, and enriched with developmental progress. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored 1:1 educational and developmental support to a Nursery pupil with an EHCP, catering effectively to her specific learning needs. Collaborate closely with the EYFS team and the school's established pastoral staff to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Foster the pupil's confidence, resilience, and independence within the early years setting. Candidate Requirements Experience: Proven, demonstrable experience working within an EYFS or Nursery setting. Specialist Skills: Prior experience supporting pupils with additional needs or an EHCP is highly advantageous. Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach to early years development are essential.
