About the role
A leading professional services firm is expanding its buy and sell-side M&A Transactions and Deal Services team in London, supporting clients across the full transaction lifecycle, from due diligence through to post-deal value creation and transformation.
This is an opportunity to join a high-growth team working with corporates, private equity and institutional investors on transactions ranging from mid-market deals to £bn+ mergers.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering complex M&A transaction and transformation projects, including:
- Leading workstreams across transactions and transformation engagements
- Supporting commercial, operational and financial due diligence (buy-side and sell-side)
- Delivering integration, carve‑out and synergy assessment programmes
- Designing and implementing value creation and operational improvement initiatives
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to solve complex strategic and operational challenges
Key Responsibilities
- Own delivery of workstreams on large engagements and lead smaller client projects end-to-end
- Translate insights into structured, actionable implementation plans
- Support business development and proposal creation, working across multiple service lines
- Contribute to the growth of the practice by building capabilities and refining methodologies
- Origination of sales with your network of clients

What We’re Looking For
- Partner or experienced Director (minimum 3 years as a Director) experience for a UK management consultancy or professional services provider.
- Experience in M&A Transactions, Due Diligence (CDD, FDD, ODD or ITDD), Consulting or Deal Advisory
- Strong understanding of M&A, value creation or transformation programmes
- Deep industry sector experience in Financial Services, Technology/Media/Telecoms, Consumer, Retail, Industrial, Healthcare, Life Sciences, B2B Business Services, Education or Energy.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage stakeholders and work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Commercial mindset with interest in business development and client impact
