Production Wiring Operative Required! BE Recruitment are currently looking for a skilled Production Wiring Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Leicester (LE5), supporting the PowerProve industrial load bank production line. About the Role: As a Production Wiring Operative, you will be responsible for the wiring of control panels and sub-assemblies, working from general assembly drawings and wiring schematics. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality builds in compliance with internal standards and health & safety regulations. Hours & Pay: Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15 Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 Pay Rate: £14 - £15 P/H Key Responsibilities: Wiring control panels and sub-assemblies from wiring schematics and general assembly drawings Performing mechanical tasks such as drilling, tapping, and punching Wiring between components and fitting components with correct fixtures Carrying out basic electrical testing and inspection Collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to resolve build or design issues Ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety regulations Requirements: Previous experience in mechanical assembly and panel wiring Proven background in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams Hold a relevant electrical qualification Competency using hand tools, crimpers, and power tools Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team Good communication and problem-solving skills Physically fit and comfortable with some manual lifting What We Offer: A dynamic and supportive work environment Ongoing development opportunities Stable, long-term employment with a reputable manufacturer Please apply if interested, and one our team will be in touch!
