Data Governance Lead - Risk & Compliance

Currently recruiting on behalf of an international bank, who are looking for a data governance lead to join their risk and compliance function. You will be responsible for the enhancement of the Bank's data governance framework, taking ownership for implementing and operationalising policy. You should ideally have a STEM background, with a focus on technology, and have good knowledge of relevant regulation such as GDPR and the Data Protection Act, as well as relevant third party risk and resilience frameworks.

Key Experience:

• Relevant STEM degree, ideally within Computer Science or similar
• Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks including GDPR, BCBS239 and Operational Resilience
• Hands on experience of SQL and data visualisation xwzovoh tools such as Power BI
• Ability to work closely with compliance and risk to build out appropriate governance frameworks
• Exposure to, and an interest in AI tooling
• Previous experience within a bank would be highly beneficial
