Salary: From £27,000 depending on experience

I'm delighted to be recruiting on behalf of my client for a Customer Service Executive to join their growing team in Billingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service or administration experience who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering outstanding service. You'll become the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, processing orders, and ensuring every interaction is handled efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities:

As a key member of the customer service team, you will:

* Manage customer enquiries via phone and email

* Process sales orders accurately and efficiently

* Maintain and update customer records and order information

* Handle returns, credits, invoices, and proof of delivery requests

* Keep customers informed of order progress, delivery dates, and any delays

* Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally

* Produce reports and maintain spreadsheets to ensure accuracy

* Support the wider team with administrative and customer service activities

* Work towards individual and team performance targets

Criteria:

* Previous experience within a customer service, sales support, or administration role

* Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

* The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure

* A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
