This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property or Rural Property lawyer looking to develop specialist expertise within the fast evolving landowner and rural sector, advising on everything from farm and estate transactions to strategic land development, option agreements and high value property projects.The team acts for landowners, farming businesses, landed estates, developers, local authorities and private clients, offering exposure to a diverse and high quality caseload across agricultural, rural and commercial property matters.The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing and supporting a varied caseload, including:Buying and selling agricultural, rural and commercial landFarm and estate acquisitions and disposalsAgricultural and commercial leasesOption agreements, promotion agreements and development agreementsStrategic land transactionsOverage arrangementsEasements, covenants and rights affecting landProperty aspects of farming business and succession planningSales, acquisitions and refinancing of high value property assetsGeneral commercial property transactionsThe team regularly advises on significant development land projects, supporting landowners from the negotiation of option and promotion agreements through to the ultimate sale and development of land.Candidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a solicitor with:NQ-3 years' PQEExperience in Commercial Property, Agricultural Property or Rural PropertyA genuine interest in land, rural businesses and development projectsStrong technical and drafting skillsA commercial, client focused approachExcellent communication and relationship building skillsA collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for developing specialist expertiseCandidates from a commercial property background who wish to specialise in the landowner and rural sector are strongly encouraged to apply.Why Join?You will work alongside experienced colleagues on a wide range of high quality matters within a supportive, collaborative environment.
