Location: Crawley Salary: £12.80 per hour PAYE (£14.43 per hour including holiday pay) Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Location: Office-based Are you an experienced Call Handler or Customer Service professional looking for your next opportunity We're currently recruiting for a Call Handler to join a busy property services team based in Finsbury Park, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. The Role You'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing a professional and helpful service while managing a busy volume of calls and queries. Your responsibilities will include: Handling a high volume of incoming customer calls Dealing with customer queries and resolving issues where possible Booking and coordinating appointments Liaising with operatives, customers and internal teams Updating internal systems accurately Managing customer expectations and providing regular updates Escalating more complex issues when required Ensuring all customer information and records are kept up to date Requirements We're looking for someone who is: Confident and professional on the phone Customer-focused with excellent communication skills Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Organised and able to manage competing priorities Confident using computer systems and updating records Reliable and keen to secure a long-term opportunity Previous experience in call handling, customer service, housing, repairs, maintenance, scheduling or a contact centre environment would be highly beneficial.
