Customer Support Engineer

Join us as a Customer Support Engineer at KLA, responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing highly sophisticated capital equipment at customer sites.

Major Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
• Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
• Assures operational quality of system equipment.
• Coordinates actions with customers to minimize downtime.
• May provide assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.

Technical Skills

• Ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems to address on-site customer problems.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer relations and teamwork skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree or technical high school diploma with relevant work experience.
• Experience in semiconductor, electromedical, or complex measurement systems is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 30% to support customers.
• Valid driving license to travel throughout Europe.
