90k – 95k per year + bonus + benefitsWe are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to join a leading global organisation, supporting a UK-based business within a highly regulated environment.Key responsibilities:Define and deliver end-to-end technology and solution architectures.Lead architecture governance and design authorities for major projects and programmes.Develop architecture patterns, solution designs and technical infrastructure designs.Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technology solutions.Provide architectural assurance, risk management and technical leadership.Influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical decisions effectively.Support technology strategy, platform modernisation and legacy system retirement.Lead technology evaluations, RFI/RFP processes and supplier assurance.Mentor and provide technical leadership to other architects.Key experience:Senior-level architecture experience across infrastructure, cloud and application technologies.Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure, hybrid cloud and enterprise environments.Knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, networking, databases and security technologies.Experience with integration and middleware technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, MuleSoft, Boomi, JBoss or WebLogic.Strong understanding of security, resilience, high availability and performance.Experience working within regulated environments, architecture governance and design authorities.Familiarity with Agile/DevOps, CI/CD and tools such as Jira and Confluence.Experience with architectural modelling and documentation using tools such as ArchiMate, C4, draw.io, ADOIT or Mermaid.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, from technical teams through to senior executives.An interest in emerging AI/LLM technologies and their practical application within enterprise architecture.Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted. Proactive Appointments Limited operates as an employment agency and employment business and is an equal opportunities organisationWe take our obligations to protect your personal data very seriously.  Any information provided to us will be processed as detailed in our Privacy Notice, a copy of which can be found on our website
