Our client is a leading provider of facilities management and maintenance services across the UK.Your new roleReporting into an excellent Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the business meets all of its statutory, regulatory and shareholder financial reporting obligations.Key duties:Support with the production of statutory accounts, shareholder reporting and external auditsProduction of rolling cashflow forecastsManage relationships with banking partners and the central Treasury functionOversee fixed assets and lease accounting, ensuring assets are accurately recorded in line with IFRSManagement of balance sheet reconciliations, VAT and CIS reportingLead the Purchase to Pay (P2P) team, developing staff whilst improving efficiencies and service deliveryProvide expert financial guidance whilst driving improvements in processes, controls and reportingWhat you'll need to succeedQualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3-4 years' post-qualification experience in either financial reporting or financial control (suitable for a 2nd or 3rd time mover from practice)Excellent technical knowledge of statutory accounts, audit, treasury and financial governanceProven track record in large business environments, preferably within the facilities management/construction spaceConfident working with senior stakeholders and the ability to communicate complex financial informationBackground managing or developing a finance team with a good understanding of P2P processesStrong Excel skills as well as experience with SAP or similar ERP systemsWhat you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive a generous remuneration package which includes a basic salary of up to 72,000 per annum together with a car/car allowance and bonus of up to 20%. Additional benefits include 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), matched pension up to 6%, private medical cover and life assurance.
