Electrical Mobile Engineer (WPS) – Facilities Management Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Midlands Region (Mobile Role) Full Time | Permanent The Vacancy WPS is looking for an experienced Electrical Mobile Engineer to join our growing Facilities Management team, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial and corporate properties across Stoke-on-Trent and the wider Midlands region . As part of our Mobile Engineering team, you'll play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance services, ensuring our clients' buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across our FM contracts. Carry out fault finding, testing, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Support the maintenance of building services including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and associated plant. Undertake minor installation works and electrical upgrades where required. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations, company procedures, and client requirements. Accurately complete job reports, compliance documentation, and service records using mobile technology. Support wider building services activities and collaborate with multi-skilled engineering colleagues. Participate in the on-call rota when required. What We're Looking For Qualified electrician with City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance. 18th Edition (BS7671) certification. Experience working within Facilities Management, Building Services, or a maintenance environment. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Knowledge of statutory compliance and safe systems of work. Full UK driving licence. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
