From civil works to water treatment facilities, this programme strengthens environmental protection across the East of England - safeguarding water resources for generations to come.We are currently looking for an Lead Electrical Design Manager who will deliver projects safely, on time, and sustainably - driving efficiency and strong performance without compromising governance. What you'll do:Deliver a varied portfolio of water recycling, infrastructure, and water supply projects.Lead, coach, and mentor junior engineers, building capability across the electrical team.Ensure full compliance with CDM, Electricity at Work, BS7671, WIMES, DSEAR, and all relevant technical and safety standards.Work across multidisciplinary teams to review designs, manage queries and change, and maintain quality, pace, and performance.Drive smarter delivery through sustainable, low-carbon, offsite, modular, and repeatable design solutions.What you'll bring to the role:An engineering, or equivalent, degree or be able to demonstrate a degree level of knowledge through relevant experience.Preferably chartered, or working towards, chartered status.Experience of water-sector assets and capital projects.Knowledge of all relevent regulations, standards and codes of practiceExperience of mentoring and coaching of junior engineers.What we offer: * 24/7 digital GP service for you and your family * Financial wellbeing and employee assistance * Professional development * Enhanced family benefits (including maternity, paternity, dependants and parental bereavement leave) Inclusion and Diversity We thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking, helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
