Join our team as a Traffic Manager based at Wandsworth Garage, to lead and inspire our team of drivers and garage staff, ensuring operational excellence and outstanding service delivery every day.What You'll Be DoingAs a Traffic Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operation:Leading, motivating and engaging drivers to maintain the highest standards of safety, conduct and performanceOverseeing staff attendance, welfare, and professional developmentManaging sickness and absence procedures, probation, inductions and exit processesConducting route risk assessments and monitoring road safety performanceLiaising with Trade Union reps, senior managers, and colleagues to drive staff quality standards and accident preventionEnsuring payroll accuracy and contract compliance through strong administrative oversightHandling public enquiries, lost property, and community correspondence with professionalismMaintaining a strong focus on Health & Safety at all timesThis is a challenging but rewarding leadership role, where your ability to balance people management with operational delivery will directly impact the success of our garages.What We're Looking ForExperience in the bus, transport, or logistics industryStrong people management skills with proven ability to handle performance issuesIn-depth knowledge of platform staff rules, company discipline, and attendance proceduresExcellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skillsFinancial awareness, with the ability to interpret and act on KPIsSolid IT skills (Windows, MS Word, Excel)A strong grasp of Health & Safety standards – IOSH or NEBOSH desirableManagement CPC (or willingness to work towards it)Benefits:We are also committed to your financial wellbeing, and we offer a platform with many discounts on high street brands and supermarkets etcStaff Travel PassNominee Pass after three months of serviceCycle to work scheme
