Web Developer

We’re working with a fast-growing and ambitious business in Plymouth that’s looking to add a Web Developer with Shopify experience to their expanding in-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer who wants to be part of a collaborative environment, working on a variety of ecommerce and web projects with real impact. The Opportunity You’ll be joining a close-knit team where your work will directly contribute to the development and optimisation of Shopify stores and web platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and creative development. Key Responsibilities * Develop and customise Shopify themes using Liquid * Build and maintain responsive, high-performing websites * Work across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript * Implement new features and improvements across ecommerce platforms * Troubleshoot issues and optimise site performance * Collaborate with internal teams including design and marketing What We’re Looking For * Proven experience working with Shopify (themes, customisation, apps) * Strong front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) * Understanding of responsive design and UX best practices * Experience with Git/version control * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * A team player with good communication skills Nice to Have * Experience with Shopify CLI or custom app development * Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations * Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue) What’s On Offer * Salary of £32,000 – £34,000 * Stable, full-time on-site role in Plymouth * Clear opportunities for progression as the team grows * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Exposure to a wide range of ecommerce projects If you are interested or have the relevant experience and are currently looking for a new challenge then please submit an up to date CV by clicking the ‘apply’ button.
