KS1 Teaching Assistant - Romiley, Stockport Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity | Immediate Start Available Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Romiley area of Stockport. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils within Key Stage 1 and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, deliver interventions, and help pupils achieve their full potential. The Role: Supporting teaching and learning within a KS1 classroom Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning objectives Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development Working collaboratively with teaching staff and parents where requiredThe Ideal Candidate Will Have: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential) Previous classroom experience within a Primary School setting Experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 1 Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and developmentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community and gain valuable experience within a well-established primary setting.
