Research Software Engineer

Talentmark are recruiting for a Research Software Engineer to join a growing biotechnology company, on a permanent basis.  Location – West London. This role offers Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office.  Salary - £50,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.  This role would be suitable for a recent PhD graduate, a degree level candidate with post study industry and academic experience, or a more experienced Software Engineer looking to continue developing their career.  Our client is a biotechnology start up that has developed a cutting edge, bench top analytical device. Their product is based on years of cutting-edge R&D and enables the rapid development of novel therapeutic Nanoformulations.  Skills and Criteria: Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Bioengineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Python programming, and experience with some of NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Sklearn and PyTorch. Experience with hardware integration or interfacing software with laboratory instruments. Familiarity with development lifecycles, version control, testing and documentation. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
