Senior Data Insights and Performance Officer Location: Hybrid, initially office based then remote Rate: £450 per day Contract: Initial contract IR35: TBC The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Data Insights and Performance Officer to join a Local Authority on a contract basis. The successful candidate will support Adult Social Care and Housing services by delivering high quality data insight, performance reporting and business intelligence. You will lead on developing Power BI dashboards, analysing complex datasets and providing meaningful insight to support service improvement and strategic decision making. The role will initially require office based working before moving to a flexible remote arrangement. Responsibilities * Lead data analysis across Adult Social Care and Housing services. * Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards from scratch. * Produce management information, performance reports and data visualisations. * Analyse trends and provide actionable insight to senior stakeholders. * Support the development of self service reporting solutions. * Improve data quality across operational services. * Work with large datasets and data warehouses. * Provide expert advice on data interpretation and performance. * Collaborate with IT and operational teams to enhance reporting capability. * Deliver ad hoc analysis and insight projects as required. Essential Experience * Adult Social Care experience (Essential) * Housing experience (Essential) * Extensive experience creating and developing Power BI dashboards. * Strong SQL skills. * Experience working with large databases and data warehousing. * Advanced Excel. * Local Authority experience. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. * Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Desirable * Experience with statutory reporting. * Knowledge of performance frameworks. * Experience supporting senior leadership teams.
