Quantity Surveyor

About the role Our Client is a [main contractor / consultancy] delivering [residential / commercial / infrastructure] projects across the region. We need a Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and keep our projects commercially on track.

What you will do

* Prepare cost plans, estimates and bills of quantities

* Procure and manage subcontractor packages

* Value work on site, prepare interim applications and agree final accounts

* Produce monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs) and forecasts

* Manage variations, change control and contractual notices

* Advise project teams on commercial risks and opportunities

What you need

* Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar

* 3+ years as a Quantity Surveyor in construction

* Good working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC3/4 contracts

* Strong Excel and measurement skills

* Confident negotiating with subcontractors and clients
