Pay: £16-£18 per hour (weekly pay)

Start Date: Mid-August (with training provided)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Chef Manager to join a busy school catering team in the Surrey area.

This is an excellent opportunity to start in mid-August with a structured training period, with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day running of a school kitchen

Plan and deliver healthy, nutritious meals for pupils

Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety

Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen budgets

Supervise and support kitchen staff

Requirements:

Previous experience working within a school kitchen environment (essential)

Chef Manager or senior catering experience

Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months (essential)

Strong knowledge of food safety and compliance

Excellent organisational and leadership skills
