Job Description Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home is a modern, purpose built care home located on the peaceful northern outskirts of Taunton, Somerset. The home provides specialist Nursing, Dementia and Complex Care for up to 42 residents in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.\n Activities Coordinator Contract \n \n £12.71 per hour \n 37.5 hours per week \n Shift times: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30 minute unpaid break) \n Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided \n 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) \n Role Overview \n \nAs an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs.\n \nBuilding positive relationships is essential, helping you understand individual preferences, behaviours and communication styles to support inclusive participation. n What We Are Looking For \n \n A creative, organised and enthusiastic approach \n Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n Ability to plan and deliver engaging, person centred activities \n A genuine interest in supporting individuals with complex needs \n Ability to work both independently and as part of a team \n Previous experience in activities or a similar role is beneficial, however candidates with transferable skills from roles such as hospitality, events, childcare or community work are encouraged to apply \n About us \n \nAspen Court Care Home is part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist complex care division of Care Concern Group, a family owned, market leading care provider with a strong and growing presence across the United Kingdom.
