The role offers a mixed timetable of PE delivery and general classroom cover, so flexibility and adaptability are essential. The Role Long-term position within a supportive secondary school in Cardiff Opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate A varied timetable including PE lessons and general cover across multiple subjects Deliver pre-set PE lessons and supervise practical sessions safely Provide general classroom cover when required across different departments Maintain a structured, positive and well-managed classroom environment Build strong relationships with pupils and staff to ensure consistency and engagement Key Skills & Experience Strong behaviour management is essential Confident working across a mixed timetable (PE + general cover) Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (school-based or similar setting) Comfortable leading practical PE sessions as well as classroom-based learning Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to changing daily requirements A committed and reliable individual looking for a long-term opportunity A genuine passion for supporting young people both academically and pastorally What We Offer Competitive daily rate - £120 to £130 per day Long-term stability with temp-to-perm potential Opportunity to establish yourself within a school environment Ongoing support from a dedicated Aspire People consultant Access to CPD and training opportunities Apply Today If you are looking for a long-term role and are happy working across both PE and general cover, we would love to hear from you.
